Your words were very encouraging and you're right -- postponing the honeymoon will allow us to enjoy it and would seem even more of a "reward" than in May. I'm sure I'll be too worn out after the wedding to enjoy much of anything. Well.. there are exceptions :)

Jenn -- I'm realizing more and more how much I need to work on my trust! In God that is. Here lately I've gotten worked up over little things. Jose himself has reminded me that God has HIS purpose and I should remember that. It's hard when that "uncertainty" stresses you out. But thank you too, you're very sweet to remind me!Imaginale Designhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11648616424467549705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800277314493930624.post-62107506575621126052009-12-08T14:04:57.694-05:002009-12-08T14:04:57.694-05:00Oh wow! Talk about getting the wind knocked out of...Oh wow! Talk about getting the wind knocked out of ya. I too have found that it's so easy to dole out advice and tell people to trust in God and then all of a sudden it's YOU that has to take your own advice. I have to agree with Ellen that it's better to find out now rather than later. And when has anything in life ever gone off without a hitch? It seems there is always SOMETHING. Of course there is a reason for everything, and for that you have to have Faith that everything will work itself out! :)Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636443882655201285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800277314493930624.post-37375999422861967882009-12-07T17:02:28.740-05:002009-12-07T17:02:28.740-05:00Oh my goodness! First of all - I love you & I...Oh my goodness! First of all - I love you & I'm sorry this is happening. I know this was a shock and may put a dent in your plans, but I know that everything will be okay in the end. On the bright side, at least you found out now instead of two months before the wedding! I don't blame you for being upset at first, but I'm definitely glad you've managed to see things from Jose's perspective & realize that this situation can't be changed. I'm sure he feels awful. I seriously doubt that you two will end up spending your first 3 months of marriage away from each other. Your job will either give you time off or you will find something to keep you in Atlanta. And I actually think that postponing your honeymoon is a great idea - its gives you both something to look forward to & a "reward" for being able to deal with all of this. Haha, I can't believe you made Jose propose to you again! Those first two attempts were pretty pathetic (sorry Jose), but the one you accepted was very sweet. Let me know what happens with your job situation!Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13397178965047430813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800277314493930624.post-47032143069533752292009-12-06T10:50:49.673-05:002009-12-06T10:50:49.673-05:00Here's to hoping that we will know each other ...Here's to hoping that we will know each other in heaven...

I will never let you go.
